Our journey this year led us to Faith Babies and Children’s Home in Iganga, where the team at Tabitha Love Ministries embarked on a mission fueled by love and compassion. With a budget of 4.5 million Ugandan shillings, we aimed to provide not just material support but also a sense of joy and warmth to the children at Faith Babies Home.
Planning and Coordination
Coordinating closely with Grace Kaziba, the dedicated coordinator at Faith Babies Home, we identified the most urgent needs. The communication between the coordinators was instrumental in ensuring that the funds raised were utilized to purchase essential items for the home.
Fundraising Campaigns
Our fundraising efforts commenced in early October, employing both online platforms and personal interactions. We were also grateful for the opportunity provided by our partner, St John’s Kiriinya Church of Uganda, to raise awareness during all church services. By the end of November, thanks to the generosity of national donors and well-wishers, we successfully raised all the necessary funds.
Activities on December 2nd
On December 2nd, our visit to Faith Babies and Children’s Home was filled with heartwarming activities. The children engaged in bookmaking, drawing, and colouring, expressing their visions of family. A skills facilitator imparted bookmaking techniques, and the children received a brief session on the Love of Jesus Christ.
Later, with the help of a liaison facilitator and a musician, we shared moments of dancing and playing, creating an environment where the children felt free and joyous around us.
Annual Love Outreach
Tabitha Love Ministries conducts relief and love outreaches every 1st Saturday in December. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of reaching out to various homes, including Smiles Children’s Home in Masaka, Love Foundation in Kalagi, and now Faith Babies and Children’s Home. These initiatives are made possible through the support of national donors and well-wishers who believe in our mission.
Educational Empowerment: “TAKE ME TO School”
Since our official registration and commencement of operations in 2022, Tabitha Love Ministries has been committed to educational empowerment. The “TAKE ME TO School” program identifies beneficiaries and provides full fees for some and partial fees or necessary school requirements for others. Kizza Immaculate and Deborah Nakayanja are two of the success stories—one in primary school and the other in secondary school.
Annual Fundraising Events
Every August, Tabitha Love Ministries organizes fundraising events to commemorate its establishment and secure funds for its ongoing activities. These events play a crucial role in sustaining our mission and reaching out to more children in need.
Looking Forward
As an organization, we are excited about the future. We look forward to organizing skill-based events, engaging in youth talks, and further impacting our community. We firmly believe that by touching the lives of individuals in our communities, we contribute to the transformative journey of the entire community.
Tabitha Love Ministries remains committed to spreading love, joy, and education, creating a ripple effect that transforms lives and communities alike. We are grateful for the continued support of our donors and partners who make these missions possible. Together, we are making a difference.
